At Belmont, our heart and commitment has always been to spiritually encourage and equip families.
Our promise to you from the very introduction of COVID-19 to our community has been that we will continuously and prayerfully monitor circumstances and respond appropriately in an effort to keep you informed and safe every step of the way.

Today we received word that one of our guests at last night’s Thanksgiving Pie Service (Wed. 11/17) tested positive for COVID-19.
We ask that you please lift this individual up in your prayers: for the Lord’s continued blessing and healing with swift recovery.
As church policy, we respect healthcare laws, and the privacy of all members & guests. We never share the identity of an individual unless expressly asked to do so in request for prayer.
We can and will, however alleviate concerns:
- The person affected was present briefly during the Fellowship service, but left early.
- There was very limited interaction with others.
- The very few people who did come in contact with this person will be contacted today by church staff as a courtesy, but the nature of the interactions do not constitute concerns for exposure.
- This person’s interactions were not sufficient enough per CDC guidelines to be characterized as a potential exposure to COVID-19.
Thank you for joining with us in prayer for this individual and for respecting their privacy.
We praise the Lord for the way He has continually protected our congregation against COVID and has provided healing for those who have dealt with its effects in recent months.
We also praise the Lord that He has reduced the number of COVID-19 cases and opened doors for us to return to normal church activities. We have seen new families added and many families encouraged during this time and we praise the Lord for His continued hand upon our church family!
Unto God be the glory both for what He has done and for what He is about to do!
We will continue to prayerfully and carefully keep you informed, and we praise the Lord in advance for His blessings upon us all!
With a Shepherd’s Love
